This seat is different from everything else on the market and supposedly safer because of the way it holds your child in. I bought in on the basis of safety but was a bit worried that my son would not like being pinned in by the cushion thing. I was also worried that it would be more difficult to get him in and out of the seat and that I'd be wrestling with the seatbelt every time. Turns out he loves his new seat (and "special table") and while it probably is a tiny bit more fiddly to do up each time I got used to it after the first 1/2 dozen times and am more than happy with it. We'll see if it really does last till he's 11 though that seems like a lot of chewing/spilling/scratching/dribbling etc to put one item through!
